You Are Not Failing Your Dog
Whether you’re raising a new puppy, navigating the ups and downs of adolescence, or dealing with more challenging behaviour, asking for help is a positive step for both you and your dog.
Many owners feel overwhelmed when training doesn’t go as expected, but you’re not alone. I work with dogs at every stage – from puppies learning their first skills to older dogs struggling with confidence, over-excitement, or reactivity.
Using calm, structured, force-free training based on modern behavioural science, I help dogs and their humans build understanding, confidence, and lasting progress together.

Client Feedback
Claire was of immense help with our anxious/reactive Dachshund. She gave us great tips for on walks, which helped to build the trust between our dog and us and taught him that we would never put him in a situation he wasn’t comfortable in. Happy pup meant happy owners and we can now enjoy taking him wherever we want! Thanks Claire. Your approach to dog training is kind, gentle and effective.

NEWTON AYCLIFFE GOOGLE REVIEW
We were looking for training for our French bulldog (Zita) when she was a few months old without success in the Durham/Crook area. Luckily we stumbled across Claire. She has been a massive support to our, now, adolescent puppy and to our family in how we interact with her and she with us. We have attended classes alongside Claire working with us in our home environment. We are looking forward to joining Claire on her Hamsterley adventures. NEWTON AYCLIFFE GOOGLE REVIEW
Claire has been amazing with our dog roo. We were unable to walk him at night due to constant barking and within a few weeks of doing the training she recommended we have been able to take him on walks at night with no barking. Roo has become so much better at paying attention to us on walks as well. He also loves doing all the enrichment activities that she recommended, and has seemed so much happier since we started seeing Claire. Still work to do but feel a lot more confident and inspired since our sessions.
